Do Not Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy a beverage ever so often, leave your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your wallet, and keep all money, charge cards and chequebooks at home. Take whatever cash you anticipate to use on beverages, tipping and whatever pocket change you expect to burn and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You can have a win after a drunken evening out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps table. Hang on to that account seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you always drink alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is essential. If you bet to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you can afford to burn your $$$$ nary a concern, then drink all the complimentary beer you can handle, but do not take credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your befuddled self throws away every little thing!
Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on the internet to play in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my home, but seeing that I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.
How come? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, when I consume alcohol, it’s clearly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, do not gamble when you do. When mixed, both create a decimating, and expensive, drink.
